Camping Tholo Beach is situated at the village of Tholo on the west coast of Peloponnese. It is on the 40th km of the National Road Pyrgos – Kyparissia (E55), at the crossroad junction of Nea Figalia / Vassai / Apollo Temple / Tholo.
From Patras Port. Take the route direction Pyrgos / Ancient Olympia. Take the E55, drive past outside Pyrgos direction Kyparissia/ Kalamata or through Pyrgos (narrow roads and sometimes heavy local traffic depending on time of the day) Then drive 40 km south of Pyrgos and exit right at the cross road Apollo Temple/ Nea Figalia towards Tholo 0,3. Follow the signs towards Camping Tholo Beach.
Public Transport. Since the train is halted in west Peloponese, the only means of public transport is the bus. Buses from Athens go daily and make a stop at the Tholo junction, just 300 meters from the camping (more info at: www.ktelilias.gr). The bus service Patras – Kalamata (for Patras Port, Araxos Airport or Kalamata Airpor.t connections) goes twice a day and stops at Tholo. From Athens Airport. Take Attiki Odos, direction Elefsina. Then continue on the Olympia Odos motorway towards Korinthos and take the exit to Tripoli/ Kalamata, Moreas Motorway. After passing Megalopoli take the exit Kyparissia/ Patras/ Pyrgos. Out of the motorway, continue on the E55, reach the junction of Kalo Nero and drive right, direction Patras/ Pyrgos on the E55. After 14 km, on the crossroad of Apollo Temple/ Nea Figalia (km40 mark), exit left at the sign of Tholo 0,3 and follow the signs towards Camping Tholo Beach.
